Acts 6:1~6, 8~14
Acts 6:1 And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration. MC VC
Acts 6:2 Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables. MC VC
Acts 6:3 Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business. 4 I MC VC
Acts 6:4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word. 4 I MC VC
Acts 6:5 And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch: MC VC
Acts 6:6 Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them. MC VC
Acts 6:8 And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people. MC VC
Acts 6:9 Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called the synagogue of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen. MC VC
Acts 6:10 And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake. MC VC
Acts 6:11 Then they suborned men, which said, We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses, and against God. MC VC
Acts 6:12 And they stirred up the people, and the elders, and the scribes, and came upon him, and caught him, and brought him to the council, MC VC
Acts 6:13 And set up false witnesses, which said, This man ceaseth not to speak blasphemous words against this holy place, and the law: MC VC
Acts 6:14 For we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered us. MC VC
Acts 8:4~13, 26~40
Acts 8:4 Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word. MC VC
Acts 8:5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. 2 I MC VC
Acts 8:6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. 2 I MC VC
Acts 8:7 For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. MC VC
Acts 8:8 And there was great joy in that city. MC VC
Acts 8:9 But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one: MC VC
Acts 8:10 To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God. MC VC
Acts 8:11 And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries. MC VC
Acts 8:12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. MC VC
Acts 8:13 Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done. MC VC
Acts 8:26 And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert. MC VC
Acts 8:27 And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship, MC VC
Acts 8:28 Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet. MC VC
Acts 8:29 Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot. MC VC
Acts 8:30 And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest? MC VC
Acts 8:31 And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him. MC VC
Acts 8:32 The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth: MC VC
Acts 8:33 In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth. MC VC
Acts 8:34 And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man? MC VC
Acts 8:35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus. 2 I MC VC
Acts 8:36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? MC VC
Acts 8:37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. MC VC
Acts 8:38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. MC VC
Acts 8:39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing. MC VC
Acts 8:40 But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea. MC VC
1 Timothy 3:8~13
1 Timothy 3:8 Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre; 3 I MC VC
1 Timothy 3:9 Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience. 5 I MC VC
1 Timothy 3:10 And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless. 5 I MC VC
1 Timothy 3:11 Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things. MC VC
1 Timothy 3:12 Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well. 3 I MC VC
1 Timothy 3:13 For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus. 7 I MC VC
